Shutterfly

Dear Family and Friends, I have started a Shutterfly website so that you can order photos. With so many of you living so far away I wanted something easy for everyone to be able to receive photos of Devin and our family.

Grandma's Birthday

Yesterday was Grandma Diane's birthday, she turned 55!!! And Devin turned 18 months. We went over to her house for supper. I would have cooked her something or we would have gone out to eat, but I have a VERY sore back and have a really hard time moving. So, we went for supper and Devin was able to play with Grandma for awhile. Here Devin is playing with Grover (who plays music) which he use to be really scared of. But since watching his cousins play with him, now Grover is fun to dance with.

All of the grandparents better watch out because I am on a mission to have lots of photos of Devin with his grandparents before it is too late. I want to capture as many memories as I can.

On the flicker page I uploaded a movie clip of Devin dancing with Grover. He's got some really good moves. Some day I think he is going to be a dancer, but don't tell Ben!

Little Helper

On Sunday we had such a little helper. Here he is watering my flowers. He ended up just as wet as my flowers, but he had a lot of fun.

Here he started following dad with his lawn mower, but as soon as he started it. Then he stopped right where he was and watched him.

Self Portrait

The other day Devin and I were playing in his room and he got my camera. Here are a couple of self portraits that he took. Most of the photos were of the ceiling and a few of the wall, but most of the make him look like a little piggy.

This one looks like he should be at a campfire telling a scary story.

Dance

This year I had four girls do a number for me in the show. I choreographed Down To The River To Pray by Red Lipstick. Nikita, Jana, Emily, and Lauren did a beautiful job. Each year I miss teaching more and more, but I love being home at night with my son and husband. All of the dancers did a great job in the show this year.

Graduation

Last Monday I graduated from Presentation College with a Bachlors of Science as a Radiologic Technologists. This time around I really took my classes more seriously. And it payed off. I graduated Magna Cum Laude. My goal was to finish with honors and I did. I was very proud of myself.

My Dad

What a week it has been. It started off with me losing my dad on May 9th. It all happened so sudden that I never got a chance to tell him good-bye and that I loved him. After years of not having much of a relationship, we had finally got there. We were father and daughter. It has been a long and hard week. I know that Devin is young, but I hope that he knows how much his grandpa Tom loved him. How much he loved all of his grand-kids. I keep finding myself thinking that I should call him or go and see him. Just today Devin and I were sitting outside and I thought we should go and see grandpa.

I know that there is a reason for everything that happens, but that doesn't mean that I have to like it. I know that my face may have a smile on it, but my heart is really breaking. I like to be strong; not just for my child, but for myself. But during the quiet time is when I miss him the most.
