Easter

So the night before the eggs and basket were placed out in the living room waiting for Devin to wake. He woke about 6:30 Sunday morning and after a few minutes of rocking he noticed the basket. The eggs all over the floor he could care less about. But the new shovel and rake he was really excited about.
In his basket he also got a black, stuff cat, bubbles, candy, and a spiderman ball.
Happy Easter from the Haase family (Ben, Stacy, & Devin)

Easter egg hunt

Saturday morning in Winnebago there was an Easter egg hunt at Parker Oaks. Ben, Devin, and I went and we meet Sean and Chloe there for some fun.
This picture was taken while we were waiting for the hunt to start.
After a few minutes and showing him once what to do, Devin was off. He needed a little help staying focused, but did a great job picking up the eggs and putting them in his basket.

This was the best we could do with the Easter bunny. Devin did not want to be any where near him.

Coloring Easter Eggs

After supper yesterday we decided to color Easter eggs. I was a little worried on how well this might go. We moved Devin's highchair into the kitchen, (for easier cleanup). Then I gave him one cup and one egg.
At first he tried to eat the egg, but quickly learned to put it in the water. He would look at it and then put his hand in the water and grab it and then put it back in.
Since one cup went so well and he wanted more eggs, we went for two cups. He loved coloring the eggs. He would put them in one cup and then take them out and put them into the other cup. At times he had two to three eggs in one cup.

Take a good look at those blue fingers. After his bath, the coloring was almost gone, just a little under the finger nails. Not a big deal at all.

The end product. All of Devin's colored Easter eggs!!!!

Here they are in an Easter basket. They look so nice in there, but I put them away and put plastic ones in the basket instead.
