Christmas Day

Once we got home from our friend's house we let Devin open a couple of presents.  And then We finished in the morning with the rest and Santa presents.
I think the new headphones are a big hit!!!!!
I love having the Christmas tree lights on.  It is so simple and pretty.
He was so animated this year with everything that he opened.  Even clothes got a good response!!!!
On Christmas Day we headed to Jackson to spend the day with my Grandma and the rest of my mom's family.  The roads were a little snow covered so mom hitched a ride with us.  Devin even taught Brandon how to play a game on his Nabi.

The boys telling Great-Grandma thank you for their gifts.
 All 3 Great-Grandkids.
Then when we got home Ben's dad came over.  We had a nice time chatting with him and exchanging gifts.

Christmas Eve with Friends

Devin and I attended the 4pm Church service with my mom and it was really nice and very children center.  It was snowing big beautiful snowflakes also.  Afterwards we headed to a friend of ours home to celebrate.  We ate, did a few presents and just hung out.  It was an awesome evening.  It was relaxing and fun.

Christmas with my mom

On Saturday we had Christmas with my mom.  Austin had a wrestling meet in the morning, which I went and watched for a little.  Then we went to check out the Eagles flying around the neighborhood.  The pictures are a little grainy, but the bird itself is just beautiful!

After supper we had gifts to open.  I truly enjoy the excitement of little kids.

Christmas Cookies with Grandma

Almost 2 weeks ago my brother's kids stayed the weekend at my mom's.  And it was a fun filled weekend.  We were mighty busy with a lot of different projects.  But I think they really liked the cookie making one!!!

I think they need a few more sprinkles!!!

The boys even shoveled grandma's driveway for her.  They did a really good job too.  And the bonus was that the house was quite for a little while.

Elf on the Shelf

Elfie returned again this year to make sure that Devin was a good boy and doing what he was told.  Elfie was very busy this year and did a lot of things around the house.  I love how excited every morning Devin was to get up and find where Elfie had landed.  His class at school also had an Elf!!!

The rules are that you are not to touch the Elf and if you do they will lose their magic and not be able to return from reporting to Santa back to you.  But ours had a note on his last night that Santa had given him Extra magic so that Devin could give him a hug or a high five.  Devin did both, but was extra careful not to hurt him.

Captured Memories

I have blessed this year to be a part of many wonderful things and to provide great lasting memories for people in my life.  Below is a little of what I have been doing this last year.  The top photos are the most recent and the last one is from the beginning of 2013.

These two may not live in the same town and only see each other every so many months, but they have developed a great friendship.  I love both of those girls as if they were my own!!!

The last few years I have been taking the gymnastic team photo for them to make posters and it has always been adventure.  This year it was near below temps.
It is always so much fun to be young and play in the snow.

This session was a first for me.  The day that we did these photos it was sunny, but the temp was 10 below.  She doesn't even look cold!!
I was blessed with capturing a friend wedding for them.

Families can be so much fun!!!  Even if it is windy and cold out.
Nothing like the love between a Grandpa and his Grand-daughter.
Lasting memories and reflecting on your last season.
 Red and wonderful!!!
This family is always fun to be around.
 What a beautiful smile.
Now these two boys have some energy that I would love to trap and sell!!!!
Newborns can be a challenge, but they are so worth every bit of it.
Nothing like making my job real easy!!!  She was a Pro!

For someone that I have known to be quite and shy, she was a blast to take pictures of.  And did I forget to mention, she is beautiful too.

A little country and a whole lot of sass.  But the truth is that she is one of the sweetest young ladies that I know.
Wishing for those green trees again.
It is hard t be 2!!!
 So in love!!
I love this prop and it just happens to be a favorite photo.  Her mother had it in the truck and it worked out great.
I love when they come with ideas and I can help them get what they want.
Welcoming a new little one into their family.

This was another first for me this year.  And yes she is in the water all wet in her prom dress.
 A mother's love.

Rock the Dress Session.  Such a fun time.

I wish I had a wall like this in the town I live.  It was awesome!!!
When you are 1, you have a mind of your own and don't always want to do what others ask!!!!
The love between a young girl and her horse.
This little makes me smile.  This family is great and such fun to work with.  The only thing is that it is either 100 degrees or windy and cold when we do pictures.  Some day the weather or us will figure out how to work together.
 What a beautiful little girl.
A father holding his newborn daughter.
 Fairies at play!!!
Spring might be one of my favorite seasons.  Well I love summer and fall can be great too.  I could do without winter!!!!
Every girl needs a little glitter in their lives.
Wishing everyone a wonderful new year!!!

I have blessed with many of individuals and families, but these are just a few of what I have done over the last year.  I hope you have enjoyed looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking their photos.
