Happy Mother's Day

What a beautiful day Sunday was.  The weather was perfect, the sun was out and it was warming up really nice!!!

 We spent the day as a family and just kept things low key and enjoyed the day. 

Dance Recital

Last Saturday was the Big dance recital in Blue Earth!!!!  And I have to say I am so proud of my little man because he DANCED!!!!!!  Being a dance teacher you want your child to dance, but with mine I was not sure it was going to happen.  Devin tends to be on the shy side, but he went right up on stage and did his thing.  For being only 4 years old and danceing with boys that are atleast 2 years older than him if not older, he did a great job.

 During intermission of the first show, Devin's cousins came back stage and took a couple of photos with Devin.

 I love this one of Kayla and Devin.  This is how it usually is between the two of them.

 Rachel is one of the other dance teachers. 

 A former dancer was in town for the last few weeks and was a special music guest at our show.  On Friday Devin and I were extras in her music video that she was recording uptown.

Prom

I took Devin to Grand March at the end of April so that he could see some of the older girls that he knows.

That was one long night.  He say them each walk and then he was ready to go even if the Grand March was not done.  But once we got to go on the floor to see the girls he was fine.

Devin's Gymnastic Fun Meet

At the end of April Devin had his fun meet for gymnastic.  This was his second year and really enjoys it.  His teacher this year was Haley, who is one of our baby-sitters also.

Dance Time

Back in April I took Devin to two dance recitals in one day.  Boy, that was one really long day.  We started off first in Spirit Lake at the Dancers Unlimited show there.  He was super excited to hear his dance songs and to even see Rachel, his dance teacher on stage dancing.  I have to say that I just love this picture of him.  What a ham!!!

After the first show we headed to Jackson to watch Alexis is in her dance recital.  She did such a great job!!!!
