Alexis

Alexis was a big helper when they came to stay with us. Of course she has to be right there with the boys all the time. But that is ok, the boys need to learn young that girls are always right!!!
I just love this photo. Ben took it while Alexis and I were making cupcakes. She did such a good job. She even broke the eggs and didn't get any shell into the batter; which is better then I can say for myself.

Alexis having some quite time with Uncle Ben.

Austin

Over this last weekend we got to spend some time with Pat and Robin's kids without them there. Austin is such a little lover. He loves to cuddle, which is something Devin doesn't do very often. But don't let this cute face fool you, he can be just as wild as the next one!!!!
Here he is hamming it up for the camera. Alexis and I were trying to make cupcakes and both of the boys thought that they needed to be in on the action too.

At the end of the night he cuddle with Ben right before bed. then again if you have food he will cuddle with anyone!
Austin we love you whether you are quite or wild!!!!

Slumber Party

On Saturday Austin and Alexis came to spend the day and night with us. Which meant we have 2 toddlers and a 4 year old. What a time we had at our house. We went to the park, played outside (a lot), made cupcakes, colored and all slept in the same room and slept through the whole night!!
Everyone wanted to get some playtime with Uncle Ben/daddy
Alexis wanted to color and Devin just wanted to play. Not always a good combination.
Outside time playing catch and raking the driveway. Austin really loves to play with the ball.
The boys at the park.

Easter

So the night before the eggs and basket were placed out in the living room waiting for Devin to wake. He woke about 6:30 Sunday morning and after a few minutes of rocking he noticed the basket. The eggs all over the floor he could care less about. But the new shovel and rake he was really excited about.
In his basket he also got a black, stuff cat, bubbles, candy, and a spiderman ball.
Happy Easter from the Haase family (Ben, Stacy, & Devin)

Bubbles

What a little angel!!! On Saturday it was beautiful and we spent most of the day outside. We enjoyed playing at the house, a walk, the park, and bubbles!
As you can see he wants to do them himself. What a mess, but it was so much fun.
Daddy showing Devin how they work.

Easter egg hunt

Saturday morning in Winnebago there was an Easter egg hunt at Parker Oaks. Ben, Devin, and I went and we meet Sean and Chloe there for some fun.
This picture was taken while we were waiting for the hunt to start.
After a few minutes and showing him once what to do, Devin was off. He needed a little help staying focused, but did a great job picking up the eggs and putting them in his basket.

This was the best we could do with the Easter bunny. Devin did not want to be any where near him.

Coloring Easter Eggs

After supper yesterday we decided to color Easter eggs. I was a little worried on how well this might go. We moved Devin's highchair into the kitchen, (for easier cleanup). Then I gave him one cup and one egg.
At first he tried to eat the egg, but quickly learned to put it in the water. He would look at it and then put his hand in the water and grab it and then put it back in.
Since one cup went so well and he wanted more eggs, we went for two cups. He loved coloring the eggs. He would put them in one cup and then take them out and put them into the other cup. At times he had two to three eggs in one cup.

Take a good look at those blue fingers. After his bath, the coloring was almost gone, just a little under the finger nails. Not a big deal at all.

The end product. All of Devin's colored Easter eggs!!!!

Here they are in an Easter basket. They look so nice in there, but I put them away and put plastic ones in the basket instead.

Sunglasses

This last week Devin has been wanting to wear his sunglasses. He doesn't always keep them on very long, but he wants to wear them. He likes to wear them when he goes to daycare and when he plays outside.

Silly Boy

Now that Devin can climb up onto the chair, he thinks that he needs to sit there all the time. He likes to have his snack in the chair. But he doesn't always stay sitting on his bottom.

Ah Oh, I think I just got in trouble!!!! I better sit down before they make me get off the chair!!!
