Devin was goofing around with Ben this evening and this is what I found.

Saturday was the hottest day of the whole summer, it was 90 degrees out with heat index around 100 and very humid. I love this weather if I am going to be at the pool or the lake, but I am not too sure about at a parade. Ben, Devin and I headed to the pool for about 2 hours, which felt great. After that we headed to Winnebago for the parade with some friends.

I love how Devin is clapping in this photo. He has been waving at cars as they drive by and clapping, so to capture it was great.

I think everyone in our group had at least one if not two icees along with a Popsicle. This was Devin's first Popsicle (rootbeer flavor) and he loved it. Can you see how hot he was. All the sweat dripping down his face and the red checks!!

Breakfast on the Farm

Saturday morning Devin, my mom and I went out to Kent Mensing's farm for Breakfast on the Farm. They had activities, food, animals, and tractors. Devin had a lot of fun trying to mil a cow!!!!

He was trying really hard and once in awhile he would actually get something to come out.
Devin right now has a thing for trucks and tractors. Whenever he sees one he will repeat "Truck" over and over. And he says truck for both, we are working on tractor. But his favorite is the gator.

They had a horse, 3 sheep, a pregnant cow, and a calf. Devin would try to feed the calf.

He had such a great time out on the farm. I think he liked being able to run where ever he wanted. We will have to make a trip to Jackson to let he run wild!!!

This mornings Adventure

Yesterday, today and tomorrow daycare is closed, so Devin and I get to have 3 fun-filled days together. So, I decided the busier our schedule is the better (and hoping that will lead to good naps)!!!! This morning we started our day with a walk and the park.

He was being such a little ham. He would try to stick his head through the bars and giggle. Devin wanted to play on the littler playground, so that is where we headed. He loves the phone booth. He would press the numbers and make noises as he did it.

After the park, we headed to Juba's for a treat and then to the Green Giant Museum. Devin looked over the Green Giant there and still is not too sure about him. After the museum we headed out to a big, yellow flower field. I got only a couple of photos and none of them are of him looking at the camera.

Before we headed for lunch, he needed to water grandma's flowers!!!

After lunch we headed to the pool and then a nap. We will see what the rest of the day brings and along with tomorrow.
