Busy Day

This morning Devin and I tried to stay busy. Daddy is out of town for almost another week, so we have to find our own fun. Devin was throwing toys into his crib and then tried to climb into it. He got as for as standing on the mattress.

Mommy can we go outside, please!
Working so hard at putting the blocks into the train. Of course that only lasted a minute and then it was onto something else.

Spring Time

This afternoon noon Devin and I went for a walk after his nap. We stopped at Juba's and played at the park. Devin enjoyed swinging and playing on the slides. After all of that we went to visit Grandpa Tom and Diane. As you can see Devin wanted to go see the dog out in the yard. But it was still a little muddy (and full of doggy poo). So it was a better idea to stay on the driveway.

Here Grandpa had to clean off Devin's shoes since he got mud on them. Devin was very interested in the screw-driver.

1st Hair Cut

Today Devin got his first hair cut. After playing at open gym at Little Giants, we stopped by to say hi to Mandy and she cut his hair. He looks like a little man now.

It is even curlier now than before his hair cut. He did really well. He started off sitting in the chair, but like everything that is short lived. So I held him as Mandy finished the back. She did a great job. Thank you Mandy!

15 months old

Yesterday Devin and I went to his 15 month check-up. He now weighs 26 pounds and is 31 inches. That would put him in the 75% for weight and 50% for height. He had two shots and did really well with them. He only screamed and cried for a moment and then it was done and he was done.

On Saturday I took Devin to Little Giants to play in their open gym. At that time we were the only ones there, so he got to run around and play with whatever he wanted to. He lover the roller coaster. It was fun to watch the excitement in his face as he made the car move. He would give a clap before he started and then when he finish the ride. I couldn't help but laugh, it was sooo cute.

My little climber

Devin has reached the climbing stage and loves to climb up on any thing that he can. In the kitchen there is a case of pop and he moves that to where he wants in the kitchen and climbs on it to reach onto of the counter.
In the living room he likes to climb on the chairs or on his toys to reach on to the table or copture table. We have to keep moving things so that he can't reach them. He is one busy little boy!

Thoughts of Spring

This afternoon after I brought Devin home we enjoyed the nice weather. Both him and I are really excited for Spring. I know that we will have to wait a little while longer, but Devin doesn't know that. He really enjoys playing outside and I wish we could spend more time out doors. But it is still too chilly for him to be out too long. But that can all change soon!!!!!!!
